These cyanokites are an extension of my experience teaching arts integration and working in exceptional education. Specifically, I explored math as an art form interested in symmetry and pattern as an accessible pathway for a child who presents with dyscalculia, dysgraphia and who is also enamored with math. Possible learning outcomes include fostering self-efficacy, challenging dominate ideologies and seeing beauty in math.

Each person will come to the construct of a kite with their own personal or cultural history. For me, making these kites is in devotion to freedom and reverence for the human mind and spirit.
